Man I hope I draw this year or next, give them *censored*s 5 years and watch the permit numbers and elk numbers drop.  What a damn shame, it makes me sick to think of all those elk that are gonna get decimated. I hope the wolf supporters.... well, no bad comments from me today.

buddy ran across a bunch of wolf tracks on the south fork of the walla walla just a week or two ago.

Was pheasant hunting between Dayton and Waitsburg in October. We stayed at the Lyons Ferry KOA. Guys next to us were boating across the Snake to the palouse for deer. Twice they came back and said they had glassed a large black wolf running on top of a ridge.

After bringing this up to the farmer whose land we were hunting, he said most in the area had already seen more than one.

10000 dollar reward for a wolf, wow what a joke. So in comparison I would have to give 1 million as a reward for someone catching an elk poacher.  S   S   S

Been seeing wolf tracks in the Blues since 2008 positively and seen more and more each september. Found 2 wolf kills this year and tracks pretty much every drainage we were in and I was in a bunch  5 years the heards will be down, the young critters dont stand a chance if they keep populating. The Kills I found were both cows, one was a small cow (last years calf) .

I heard people with cabins on Chase mountain see wolves all the time. Pretty bad when they see more wolves than bears and cougars..

This is definitely not news, and they're definitely in more places than just the steep and deep stuff. They're in the farm country now and then too and they've been seen there as long ago as 6-7 years at least.

I wonder if this is part of the reason Pat Fowler retired? He probaly seen the writing on the wall and the future of the incredible elk heard he was a huge part of. I can't imagine how sick he is over the wolves in the blues, anyone that supports wolves I feel don't have a clue about what our future holds for hunting, much less the future of our elk, deer and moose. This sucks beyond any tribal hunting has ever sucked.

There was a pic on here a couple years ago of one right on the side of Eckler Mtn Rd. I got a trail cam pic of one that straight line distance may have been 1/4 mile from Skyline. Too bad they are surprised, I'm not.
