Get a good holster. I like the *censored* rig at galcohttp://www.usgalco.com/default.asp
Thats a nice one. They are tough to find, I gave up and bought a Kimber.http://www.kimberamerica.com/1911/crimson-carry-ii/pro-crimson-carry-iiIm hoping to get some trigger time today. Enjoy and lets hear a review on it after you have had some time with Her.Enjoy
Super excited. Just wish my hunting buddy was home from his deployment to go to the range with me. Anyone out there with a 1911 .45 ACP that has suggestions on extras that would go nice with this gun? Bullets to use? Laser options? Etc.
thats a good looking piece. What was the cost on it? I currently have the Rugar SR9c and love it, but want something a little bigger (.45)
New pistols give me a chubby. It would be a good idea as a new pistol owner to find a good instructor and take a defensive pistol course. It will start you off right and will make shooting more useful than just throwing rounds downrange. Even a one day course will make a big difference. Don't be discouraged if you find out you can't shoot like John Wayne or anyone else in the movies. Nobody can. It's much more difficult than a rifle, but that's more reason to practice! Enjoy your new weapon.
That is pretty looking 1911.... and in .45 what is the mag ? 7 or 8? that rocks ...
silverdalesauerIf I could have gotten my hands on the Ruger I would have bought it. But I always wanted a Kimber and after working the whole month fo december overseas I decided I deserve it.
I bought the same pistol but without the wait sportmans warehouse had about 30 of them for their grand opening
