Found the ducks and geese around Pullman!!!
« on: January 07, 2012, 09:23:30 AM »
No pics. SORRY!!! Went down to see my grandparent's, got there in the dark thu. night but when I woke up I could see flock after flock of ducks and geese headed for the crick right below the house. Well a little later my bro-in-law decides to go shoot a duck so we could give it to my grandparents and I could have the wings to train the dog. (He has a license I didn't) Well we go down to a spot a little ways away from the house and jump about 50 ducks he shoots at a greenhead and misses, then picks out another one and fires, 2 greenhead's and a hen falls. After that all he!! broke loose in a matter of seconds we probably had 400-500 ducks and 150 or so geese flying overhead I didn't see all the other duck's and geese on the neighbor's property. I lived down there in that house for 14 yrs and never saw that amount of ducks and geese there. Probably because I would jump shoot the crick a couple times a week. lol
