Man jager you are on a ibex kick bud :chuckle:

I don't have a pedestal mount yet, but depending on what direction charlie goes in. My 2011 stag should end up as one. That's what we have talked about with him but we will see. I gave him the decision on how he wanted to mount him but leaned towards the pedestal since that was his original thought.

I think they are awesome, but in my opinion are best suited for monsters like the whitey above

Here are a couple that my buddy has in his home.  I really like the way that he did a pedastal mount, yet hung them on the wall.  These are all Upstate NY deer, taken on his property.  I like the gen pool he has running around there.  The rack on the mirror is a deer that was killed in the 60's by a bread truck.

Those are called wall pedestals and are made specifically for the wall. I'm doing a Dall sheep pedestal but using a wall pedestal form and adding a rock formation behind it. I'll post it when it's finished.

If you put it on a cabinet, be sure that there is a door and shelves in it so you have some extra storage space.

where did you get the ibex jager?

If I had the $50,000+ that it would cost to hunt both those critters, I would not be online, I'd be hunting....somewhere!   :)   (Swiped the pic off the internet)

I will hunt ibex one of these days....That's more in my price range.
