Sounds like a great setup. Did you order a frame too? If not, buy the angles and build the frame from conduit.Have fun with your new toy.
Picked up my new tent tonight at the PNW Sportsman show can't wait for nicer weather to get hear so I can set it up. And while I was waiting for my tent I ran into Elksnout, we were both getting tents from Davis.
how did you know which angles to get? my angles are wrong for my tent, cause the fly is open by 2 feet. confused in othello. mike w

mind me asking the final price
dont get a ranier cause they leak like a sieve even after 2 cans of scotchgard. we had to cover it with a tarp. nice looking tent but they leak big time.
Rainer is tooooooo spendy for what you can get from Davis Tent at way less and higher quality....
I heard a few months ago that the price of cotton went way up..that reflects in the tent prices recently in some of the companies i have checked out

i think i got my angles from the moscow place. it is not their fault they dont fit cause i measured the tent and cut all the poles. the tent works good . i cover it with a big tarp to help with warmth and rain. i take a big chunk of cardboard for the door. cozy. mike w
Very cool! What will you use for a floor?
While you have your tent set up. Hose it down and drench it. Let it dry. It will help it tighten up. It needs to be done!!!! Then when its all done and dry. Use as much Thompsons water seal on it as you can. Use a sprayer and spray it on. Not kidding. Works awsome. Let it dry and your good to go for a very long time. Just a heads up.
