Got a gun that kicks a bit? Here's a solution

Big guns have big recoil. A day of shooting an over & under at the range can leave a pretty big black & blue mark and other shoulder bruising. There is a fairly new recoil reduction product on the market from www.nokick.com. It's manufactured by Edwards. It consists of a tube with a piston inside, between two springs. You drill a 1" diamerter in your butt stock and slide it in. Next time you shoot that 3.5 inch 12 gage shotgun goose load it will remove most of the kick. Not sure how it works in the field; I don't have one but I've read the reports. Sounds very effective.

I use a beartrap in all my heavy recoil rifles. A lot of trapshooters use them  and they take a lot of the recoil out. When I shot trap a lot we took the butt pad off and there is a hole there and we filled short pieces of garden hose with shot and capped them off and epoxyed them in the stock put the pad back on and it really took the kick out. I have guns with muzzle breaks but due to noise and stuff blowing back in your face if your shooting off the ground into the wind I much prefer the beartrap.

It was a 458 socom I plan to build one of those sooner then later as well. Cool caliber I know a few guys that have shot elk and bears with them. Great shorter range caliber with some great knock down

Hammer I love seeing those 450rds Still not as sexy as a 750g amax in a 50 cal, but a close 2nd
