I had a chance to visit the Swarovski factory in Austria a while back and took some pics.  I figure some of you might like to see where all those hard-earned dollars are going. ;)

It sounds like it's time to get a new gun.

I've been thinking of sending mine in. What's the best way to go about setting this up?

I pulled the focus knob out of my EL's on a hunt :bash:  It was around a four week turn around and I was impressed with their process.  No, charge very timely!

Note to all!  When collecting firewood take your off your bino's - even if under your jacket.

Just look up their phone number on line and give them a call!

Miles, that's awesome!

I have had a pair of 10-50 SLC's for 12 years. I took off the front cups, and noticed the edges of the lenses were chipping off. I wasn't too concerned, heard good things about Swarovski. Called them and they said it would be 50$a lens. I wasn't too happy, it was both lenses, looked like a flaw to me. Since the cups cover the edges I never sent them anyway. Doesn't affect the binos, if it ever does I will send them in anyway. :twocents: They did send me new lens covers once for no charge, the second time I got new ones they charged me 10$ each.
