The Auction Whitetail Tag sold for $3500 you never know when you are going to get such a deal.

I thought the whitetail tag went for auction at an earlier SCI NW auction on 2-5.  What did the goat, Moose and west side deer and elk go for any body know?  Just curious

SCI NW is this Friday and Saturday, they have the moose and westside elk tags (http://www.scinw.com/).

The Billy went for a little over $10K on Saturday night.

It was a great event!

Is that about normal for donated hunts and trips? Seems like a pretty small list compared to a lot of the sci events. I would love to be there I would for sure bid on both the elk tag and the moose tag. I know I would not be able to win them but I would for sure try :chuckle:

I am not doing the Shockey event, I just spent 2 days at the Puget Sound SCI Chapter event, but will be there on Saturday.

The NW show usually has 50+ live auctions and many silent auctions and the bucket raffles.  I think the list on the website is just a small subset of the actual items.

Looking forward it.

Blacktail went for $6500 and the whitetail went for $3500.
The mule deer sold for $46k by the MDF  at the western hunting expo a couple weeks ago.

I have met Jim several times and he is a good guy. Got to spend some time around him as well. There is not to many of those guys that I have got to meet. He is one of the better ones that has a real life attitude to him. Not to high strung to brush a avg Joe off like a few other name brand guys.

Tell me about the exhibitor stuff. If you buy any dinner package you can setup a booth for free? what are those like? I read the info on the site and didn't get much from it. How many of those guys will be there? I would be happy to do the show one of these years and bring some hunts for people to look at

I missed out on seeing this.  I would have gone.  My friend purchased the goat tag.  Sounds like a good one.

Actually the mule deer tag sold in Reno for around $27,000, This coming weekend will be the NW SCI Banquet and this year they have the Westside elk and Moose tag. can check out info on www.scinw.com I think they may still have tickets left. You won't be getting a steal on either one of these tags though.
