Painting a bow
« on: January 10, 2012, 01:45:46 PM »
So i own a Kodiak Titan 34, love this bow, anyways i have noticed the limbs have tiny little cracks in them , i learn they are no longer in buisness but a archery shop in cali has bought all the bows and parts, i gave them a call to see if i can still get the lifetime warenty and thats a negative :'( but they do have the limbs in stock but of coarse not in the same camo which is really not that big of a deal, but i was thinkin of painting the riser flat black and puttin the new limbs on i think it would look pretty cool. Just wanted to see if anyone else has painted a bow before and how it turned out? Not raddle caned

I saw on youtbe where a guy used paint stripper and removed all the camo. He took it completely apart. He then sent it to have it powder coated. Ill see if I can find the link. I like the looks of the black bows myself.
