This is not necessarilly true. A bow performs its best when tuned well. As a general rule bows from the factory are set to perform the "best" or most efficiently at or near peak draw weight. The further you adjust them away from that the more you change things, string angles, nock points etc.... thus altering performance of the bow. The changes will be more noticeable based on a number of factors. In your situation I would simply set it for 70 or slightly more if not uncomfortable and tune it.

yes the ata is on, i called the place where i got the limbs and they said turn it all the way up and it will be fine, so thats what i did, thanks to everyone that replied

I thought you wanted to shoot 70lbs, remember if you are adding six extra pounds make sure that your arrows are the right spline, two things can happen one may not be safe to shoot and two they will not fly right if not the right spline.
