just wondering what good cheap arrows are out there...i normally shoot Goldtip, but if there is something cheaper with good quality then i would go with them... also with vane sizes whats the difference? i always shoot the 4in but i see alot of the 2-3in vanes

You could try some bemans, they are made by Easton.

The blazer vanes are designed to give better broad head flight.

I don't know if Beman still make the Blackmax.  Those are good arrow in my experience.

My old bow didn't shoot Blazer vanes for crap but like the Cabelas carbon hunters or whatever they are called with the 4" vanes using draw eights from 60 to 72 pounds.  My new bow shoots these fine as well, though I may have to find stiffer ones if I boost my draw weight any more.

I'm on my third dozen set of Easton Storm since I jumped into archery. $5/Arrow. Here's a group shot at 70 yards. Not sure if I could tighten that up any with $10 or $15 arrows.
