Snow coming this weekend to western wa...whos going out!?

I hear snow in the lowlands this weekend, colder weather .....anyone headed out? Im gonna try to make it out at least a little for yotes/bobs....

400, at this point I'll just be happy to be able to walk around after a stand and see if I was actually busted or if they didn't want anything to do with me. It would help educate me a crapton. I say invisible because I don't have hunter's eyes. I walked between two roads and as soon as I left the middle ground between them I heard a cat mewing. They all turn on the cloaking device when I'm around

Taking the kids down to the Chehalis tomorrow and the Skookumchuck on Monday (or back to the Chehalis if is is decent).
Was planning on going today but I had a memorial service to attend.  Will probably hit the Skook during the middle of the week before heading to work.

No luck but I found these three...the buck is a crab clawed 4 pt. Got to bout 40 yards. They never bolted. I took a few pics and let them be.

Don't they already have an emergency plan ready for a quarter inch of snow over there ? Everything shuts down because of it. Plows at ready, school closures etc......

yup, saw some passenger car pulled over, facing the wrong way on westlake sammamish when I was headed out....

People go nuts when it gets white out. Stores love it...stalk up now! White death is coming!

Boy - aint both of those comments the truth! A light dusting and everyone over here freaks out and traffic comes to a stop. Chains, salt, and food all doubles in price , schools close before the first flake falls, and the news people have a heyday. I'm sure they already have a fancy tag line to open up the broadcast, like "Snow-medgeddon 2012" or something of the sort!
