It sounds like it's time to get a new gun.

I like it, if your going with a 9.3x62mm I'd keep it Euro all the way and get a 5.6x50 Mag on the bottom(Huntingtons has brass now).  I have a 5.6x50R Mag in my combo gun and it is a great coyote round.
After the first shot the rest are just noise.

Make mine a Minaska

It's been a good 2 weeks.

Blaser draws blood again.

I would go all euro get the 9.3x62mm, mine is in a CZ550 Full stock and I love it. I also have it in 6.5X55 Swede and the lowly .223

Took both the deer and the pig with the sst. bullet held together well enough to pass through on quartering shots on both. No massive exit wounds or fragmentation. Broke ribs on the way in and out of the pig. No blood trail for the first 10 yards or so then blood everywhere on both sides of the trail.

Deer was about 60 yards and as you can see even though it was a bad shot, he was down in about 20 yards. Pig was about 110 yards.  Pigs are just darn tough and he when 30-40 yards with his lungs gone.

Waidmannsheil Josh. I still havn't pulled a triger opna blaser yet but have come close.  That one from Frankonia had old before they could ship it up here for me to buy.  Damn the luck.  I will be in Egerstadt for the long weekend though hoping for a Rehbock or a Uberleufer if one comes by.  I might have to talk to Bob up at Heidelberg ODR and have hm just order me a new R8.  I will be up there for my current class they are taking their Jagdprufung tomorrow.

Tim
