Whidbey Bowmen 3D January 28/29th

This is our Cabin Fever shoot, there will be 33 targets along with our new elevated shooting stand.  We now have 2 elevated stands to shoot 4 targets from.  The new stand is 16 ft long and 4 foot wide, and is about 9 foot high.  AS everyone who has come to our shoots knows, we have a lot of new Rhinehart targets, 34 to be exact... however we still have a couple of nice non-Rhineharts that we will continue to use... the new 7 foot grizzly, and of course our trusty full size buffalo.  Check us out on facebook, and you can see some of the improvements to our course.  Saturday will be a casual start between 8 and 2, Sunday is a shotgun start at 9, with shooters assignments and meeting at 8:30.

Should be a good shoot! bet the weather will be better by then...

Yep should be warmed up anyway... I would wear boots though as I think it'll still be  wet..

course is in great shape, we put 3 bridges in today (Thanks Silver Arrow Bowmen), they go over two of our inherently muddy areas.  Also got a lot done,  thanks to the 20+ members who showed up for our working party... Looking forward to our sfirst shoot of the year coming up, should be pretty good.  Ohya, we extended target 32 from a 15 yard to the capability to go out 30+ now....
:-)  WE will have 2 challenge shots setup both days for double points,  target 1 will have our infamous Iron Bear and on target 22 we will have our long distance downhill shot. Of course if you want you can shoot the normal target for nomral points..... Hope to hear some double dog dares out there...

What time can we start shooting Saturday?   I plan on shooting early Saturday then got to go to work for a few hours.

we will open the trails at 8, practice range as soon as you can see... we will be there with coffee and breakfast for sale at 7....

Great turnout!  80 shooters for Saturday and looks like 50+ for Sunday!  Some awful good shooting and lots of fun!  Thanks to Riverside Archery and Wilderness Archery for the donations for door prizes!
