im going to have to disagree about colorado being the best. as much as i love montana, idaho has to be the best, in my opinion. as for the flat 5000, i dont think all colorado outfitters charge that. some in other states charge this also. having a guide doesnt guarentee success.
were guides, not God.     most trying to get 7500? if you think so.
1 out of six gets a bull? maybe, but alot of the people who come to hunt with outfits are from back east and not at all used to high country. most are out of shape. most dress wrong. most are not superb marksmen.  most of what you said was kind of a blanket statement really.  :)

phool,, i almost took a job from billy mitchell. i can assure anyone, he is one of the best. his stock is highly regarded in the id-mt outfitting set.

I've only been on one guided hunt, but it was one of the best hunting experiences I have ever had.  Bliss Creek Outfitters out of Cody WY.  Very professional one on one guide.  25 miles back in the Sheshone wilderness.  Moose, Griz, goats, rams, deer and plenty of elk.

Idaho is definately another great hunt.
