Again... you guys can try it if you want, but it will cost you even if you don't get prosecuted. I have been told that calling with fawn/calf distress while wearing deer/elk cover scent is not a good idea and that depending on the gammie, you could be cited. So I would definately say no to any scent that is not urine based and I would not "mist".

man i just thought of this . i planned on putting out some feed for deer and elk during bear season . i wonder how that works do you have to kill a bear on bait to get busted ? or can you not have bait when bear hunting. its not like i will be hunting on the bait until deer season

Do what you want but trying to justify illegal actions because of ignorance or defiance will make you no better than the idiot who blatantly shoots an animal out of season.  Baiting is baiting whether it be in or out of season, for hunting or photography, if you shoot the bear over the bait or 200 yds up the trail from it.  If you cannot live with the law, even though it may suck, hunt another state where it is legal.  I hold my hunting rights far to dearly to chance losing them, or my gear just because of disregard for the law or greed.

The "LAW", what a farce.

You know bears LOVE to get into camps and eat the toothpaste.  Warden: "Sir, did you brush your teeth this morning?"

Rick,

Can you PROVE that any of those 8 people used any type of scent?

I didn't think so! >:(

And neither could the wardens!

Unless you want to end up in civil court, for slander and liable, you'd better stop making unfounded accusations.

There's so much truth in that statement I don't even know where to begin...

There's a PILE of laws on the books, and in the hunting Regulation pamphlet, that I don't agree with and have serious, intelligent, well researched gripes about... but if you don't obey the law because you don't agree with it, you're ABSOLUTELY NO BETTER than the guy who poaches for  ****-eat'n grins, or for pure greedy profit. Dirtbags! And you're aligning with them? Wake up guys! You're undermining all legal hunters and all the potential we have in the future to get stupid laws changed.

Rick may not be able to prove it, But I could have.

You are acting ignorant as usual Krusty, you know what they were doing.
It is no different than seeing 2 white men with guns on the reservation a couple of years ago, they tried to deny that too. 3 witnesses to that.

Al :hello:
