I took my wifes bear in a few months back to be made into a rug. This will be my first time dealing with this bussiness. Just wondering if anyone has pictures of previous work done by This guy.

I would think that would have been something you asked before you took your bear into his shop. :dunno:

maybe i should make myself alittle more clear. I did do research before just taking the bear into his shop. I did look around and even saw a few of his already done bear rugs and they looked great. My idea when making this post was just to see some other pictures of animals that he has done.

I am glad you did look at his work before you gave him your bear. Be sure to post pics when completed.

oh i will for sure. Sorry if I sounded like a D@ck before. I just should have made myself more clear when i first wrote the post. The family usually uses a guy named Stan that used to live here in washington but he moved to idaho. He did my first deer and it turned out awesome. Sucks he moved.

That place has been in business for year and years.  But with the PM being sent I am now wondering.

Are you talking about Cascade Taxidermy in Puyallup just off of valley road? Theyve got my deer from this year. I was pleased with the work he has in his shop.

They tanned a coyote for me. said it would take about 4 months, took them almost a year. And it came back missing clumps of hair and all ragged. That was about 8 years ago so hopfully they are better now.

yeah hopefully!!! When i dropped the bear off he had a rug sitting on the counter ready to be picked up. It looked great and seemed like a well job done. My wifes better turn out the same!! She's extremely excited and already has a spot on the wall just for her first bear.
