Here's mine and sounds like buckfvr has the same one, I like it alot, the Tracker only holds 5 rounds mine holds 6, I've put about 40rds through mine with no probs and yes it has some pinch but is very manageable.

I've got the same gun pictured with a 6.5" ported barrel.  I love it shoots like a dream never had any problems.

What do think about the Porting?
Had the 608 8 shot .357mag, ported.  Last ported handgun I will ever buy.

It started falling apart, pins coming out, sloppy lock up at about 800 rounds, scary sloppy.   It was 1994-95  I hear they got better.

The next one will be the same as I still regret selling.  S&W 629Classic 5inch.  $650

I have had 2 44 mags raging bulls from Taurus and I won't be buying another. First one, the barrel blew in half, second, the cylinder started free spinning after a few shots.  I know I probably had lemons cause I have heard good things about taurus, but that's my experience with em and I always like hearing about bad reviews when I buy a new gun.  Hope your experience is better than mine.

I shot a friend's Taurus .357mag. Thing would fire a few rounds, heat up, then the firing pin wouldn't strike the round's primer until it took a few minutes to cool down. I would take one if it were free but wouldn't bother trusting my life with one.  :twocents:

This 450ti is the most abusive handgun I have ever fired in my life. It is a 19oz. 45lc+p it would buck so hard it could only shoot 3 of 5 shots before pulling the 365gr bullets. It stayed tight and the finish is very good. But I have seen a lot less love in their more common guns.

Did you put on the ones that come with it, or the xframe? The x is the best thing I ever did to mine.

Ruger is great with customer service. I put some target grips on my Super Black Hawk for a while, when I decided to go back to the original western grips I couldn't find them. :yike: I looked up the part number in my owners manual, sent the check for the amount and got new grips and my check back. Nice!
times before with just leather, wool and cotton.
