K thanks carp, I'm gonna check out the bps today as well! I've only ever shot my 870 so no idea what to expect! If we were talkin rifles now that would be a different story!
I'm a little addicted to those!

I shot a crud load of upland birds and waterfowl with my 870 express. I also had good luck with the Browning BPS 10ga. I had a Nova, and sold it to my brother in-law. My go to shotgun now is a 12ga BPS, hard to beat. If you have the $$ to spend, the browning BPS is hard to beat!

Ha that's what I keep hearing! Is the dura touch coating pretty scratch resistant?

You can rattle in a buck with the forearm of a nova
I'd get a supernova if I were you. I like the looks of the BPS but I have heard that they are kind of a pain to take down and clean?

I shoot a pump Mossberg model 500 with no issues. I have killed yotes, deer, pheasants, ducks, geese, and a few cats
with it. The gun cost me 189 bucks in Idaho

Nova is a great gun. You can adjust the drop with shims and make it a good fit. It will kick your A$$ with 3 1/2" turkey loads.

yes i have a browning bps that i got a few years ago know in the duck blind camo dura touch. the dura touch does scratch but not that easy i have hunted with mine alot and havent had any isues so far
great gun if you are looking for a really good pump gun plus the bps is bottom eject which is nice sometimes! the only thing that is hard as mentioned before is the takeing apart and cleaning of the bps its a little trickey to take it apart but once you learn its easy just my

I have one and I really dont like it. I grew up on 870s I love em. Ideally I would like an SXIII and an 870 super mag as a backup

i have a super nova with the max 4 on it and it has been great. used it for upland ducks geese turkey trap etc. nice to have 3 1/2 capability and the coating seems to be rock solid and its easy to disassemble and clean. would recommend one any day. it rattles a little bit but who cares. its not falling apart.

I lined the inside of the forend with moleskin. It was very annoying over my shoulder sneaking along while turkey hunting.
I got the 28 inch barrel but would do the 26 if I was to buy another. With that 3 1/2 inch action it is a really long gun, especially for upland and turkieys.
I wish I had gotten the bottom ejecting gun as it turns out my boy will end up shooting left handed.
