How are the Columbia River numbers?
« on: January 19, 2012, 09:58:47 AM »
Hunted the Cresent bar area about three weeks ago and the bird numbers were very low. Going out next week for the last trip of the year, just wondering if this weather has pushed more birds toward the river. Thank you for the info and good luck to all going into the last week.

I would say the numbers are fair, but you have to find them.  Started to notice more mallards on the river the last week or so, but I certainly wouldn't say there are a lot.

Agree with Jordan. Hunted the upper stretch of the entiat pool and saw some mallards, nothing to brag about. Groups are pretty small, few solos flying. The weather has been good but there hasn't been much activity.
