Great picture and nice deer. Do you think it was her camo racoon hat that did it? That deer saw that racoon comming and was mesmerized.  :chuckle:

That's a very rare deer species. Entirely different from mule deer and blacktails...but closer to a benchleg. Very rarely seen and ever harder to capture on film.


I seen one once. I think? Maybe? Idk I thought I did  :dunno:  :chuckle:

Haha, I'm convinced it was the hat! I'm thinking about getting one. Not only does it make legal deer walk right to you but it guides your bullet like a heat seeking missile straight to a kill shot! We also saw the biggest deer I've ever seen in the wild on that hunt. Prolly over 30" wide and possibly boone and crockett status...

Come to think of it. I'm going to steal that hat...
