CLEARWATER RIVER STEELHEAD '12

Well i was thinking that we needed some current info on the fishing/weather/flow befor making the drive over. Any one been out there recently? This weather kept me from going this weekend :'( but i will be there very soon! :tup:  I will try to get some good pics for the report i give upon return, if any one has a report/info that might help any members, that would be great!---- Tight lines

The river is cold and clear but with the warming temps it should come up but it may blow out! would check out the usgs link http://waterdata.usgs.gov/id/nwis/current/?type=flow and look at the flows before you make the trek down! Unless you are going to fish the northfork.

ya i was thinking this weather would bring the river up and it could possible be blown out, so i didnt go. but was reading that it is down and needed some water to bring it up and get the fish moving.  next weekend!

super weather arriving, next week will be awsome i suspect. i wish i could fish that river, but i got a few oldtimers i have to take when i go south,and they insist on grande ronde, because they are too cheap to buy a ID, Lic.

I had a group out the other day (sunday) and we went 6 for 11! 4 keepers 2 wilds but the fishing was spotty at best! I have another group tomorrow and I will let you guys know how it goes!
