Final Approach High Def (HD) Dekes
« on: February 14, 2012, 01:06:35 PM »
Anyone have experience with?  Good/bad.  Not asking for your favorite dekes as these are not mine,  I've got a gift card though.   Just curious.  Thanks for your input.

I ordered a dozen of the Last Pass HD one piece sleeper goose shells this year. The ones I received kind of sucked. The actual decoy seems good- but the paint and especially the flocking was pretty weak. I bought from Rogers and their return policy is fine for purchase price, but they don't reimburse original shipping or return shipping, so to send them back would of dinged me about $60 total. I called up FA and explained my displeasure and they said no problem and shipped me out another dozen decoys as well as a couple of hats. They said keep the old dekes and do want you want with them. I will have to redo the flocking (not too big a deal) and touch up the paint (also not too bad). When all is said and done I will have two dozen sleeper shells which seems to be too many, but I'll figure something out. This all transpired the last week of the season so I didn't get to test them out in the field. Like I said earlier- the decoys them selves are pretty stout (and heavy), decent to pretty good paint scheme, and I like the fact they stood behind their product. I have no experience with their other decoys other than word of mouth on the internet forums. I think they look good in pictures.
