Out of state muzzyloader hunt
« on: July 21, 2008, 09:16:57 PM »
Trying to put together an out of state muzzyloader hunt for '09.

Thinking Utah.

Which choice would be yours??

I'd really like a shot at a bull that goes 340 or more.

Thanks for any advice

Do you have any points in Utah.  It usually takes 8 or more points to draw any of the better units with a muzzleloader.  If you don't have any points I would go with New Mexico.  Decent draw odds on some of the later date muzzleloader hunts on the better units.  You would have a decent chance at a 300+ bull.  And if you drew one of the early muzzleloader hunts you would have a decent chance at a 340+ bull.  PM me if you want me to ansewer any specific questions.
