Speed Goat Release

Has anyone else heard that there were 100 cantaloupe captured in Nevada and turned lose near on the rez on the 13th of January?  Rumour?  :dunno:

I have heard the same thing that they let more go and this time it was 100 from nevada as well.

Of the 100 ANTILOPE captured 99 were released. Hope the someday get established, and eventually are in huntable numbers, it would be great to harvest one in Wa.

I hope they captured more and released them...what they need to do for a few years to get a sustainable population going. What they did in the past was dumb and waste of money.

Nice to have lope here in WA finally BUT, why on the rez(because there protected more,FOR NOW). Why not split and transplant some for us non-native people to enjoy later in the future. My kids would love to take pictures and look at them if they were here just like many other people here?

They're not going to stay on the reservation, not all of them anyway.
