Cool video, but it kind of kills my argument I've been having about you can't really have pursuit when a dog is on a leash!!   :chuckle:

he used a horse to keep up with the dogs... so pursuit if you cannot keep up with the dogs running full bore no pursuit  :chuckle:

Coyote hunt??

Me thinks them 3 dogs would meet their maker pretty quick if they tried that with one of these fricken werewolves we have here in MT....

There's a great book about T. Roosevelt that talks about him going coyote hunting with some guy down in Texas I believe. This guy would jump off his horse and grab these coyotes when fighting the dogs... Teddy tried it and got the chit bit out of hisself!!!

Great video though!

he also tried to kill wolfs with dogs but the dogs were killed most of the time. he had one breed if i remember correctly that he felt could hunt wolfs if it was 2 dogs one wolf.
the dogs he described had grayhound and wolfhound in them that's what i would picture them looking like those are some fierce hounds cool video! man what i would give to go on that hunt.
