A trip to texas for hogs and exotics
« on: January 24, 2012, 08:35:56 PM »
Hey everyone I have been getting lots of emails about exotics and hogs. I do offer hog hunts already in Cali. I am going to plan on adding a outfitter in Texas this year to my booking list. I also thought that it might be a good chance for a few other people to go on this hunt with me. I have only ever booked hunts for outfitters that I know and have hunted with but I think these places I am in talks with are 5 star. So I would be willing to have others go with me. I know a few guys have talked about going down there. So I wanted to know if there is any interest by anyone that might like to do a trip with me to this year. I am planning the first part of April to head down there. Sometime before turkey season. I have not picked the outfitter yet but I am talks with 3 of them right now. I have went threw over 30 and these 3 stand out. All offer hogs and almost all exotics from axis to zebra. So if you would be highly intrested in going on a trip to Texas let me know on here or send me a pm.

Thanks guys.

No heli involved :chuckle:

The hog hunts down there run from 600-900 on avg. Then you have your flight, I priced some out for myself yesterday and most were between 270-450.00

Exotics can go from 1k-30k

Hog hunting is fun, I used to love spending a day sitting over a water source and just waiting for them.

I would love to go to Texas to hunt hogs, even though my luck with hogs would probably mirror my luck with coyotes. (zilch!)  I even got a .450 Bushmaster AR in case I ever do go.  I think I would drive down there.  I just got back from a flight to the East Coast when Mom died, and if I never get on an airliner again it will be too soon.
If it was easy, everybody would be doing it.

When Bernie Madoff did it, it's called a "Ponzi Scheme"
When Government does it, it's called "Social Security"

I have really been thinking of building a 458 socom for my trip down there and for calling bears. The 450 would be a great choice.

I will keep both you and muleysniper in mind. I will let the people know who are interested once I get stuff picked out. That way I can get everyone who might like to go a price list and more details

That's $600-900 per day, per hog, or per what, please?

I have not 100% picked the outfitter yet. I think the one I am going with is 600.00 for 2 days all inclusive and unlimted hogs
