My buddy is looking at buying his first hunting rifle and has been looking to me for guidence.  Looking like he might buy a Savage Light weight hunter 7mm-08rem this week and i'm not gonna lie, I'm a little jealous.

Why do they have to make the bolt look that way?! Stupid! I hate looking at it knowing mine doesn't look that cool. Actually I painted my gun so mine looks like crap but it's hard to spot in the woods.

I just sold a Stevens 200 .308 that i was considering turning into a long range rig.  Some one elses baby now.

That used to be a 7mm Rem Mag, only thing left of the original rifle is the receiver and the bolt body.  Now it's a 300 WM

well he bought it. and he ordered a redfeild 3-9x40 and picked up a couple boxes of corelokts and hornady superformance(which he said were both 19$ box  )
