So you don't use the 20 power much? I kinda think that a 3x9 in a hig objective like the 50mm may be better than a larger power. I used a 6.5x20 and had a hard time using the 20 pwr. I couldn't find those damn P-dogs!

Remington 700 SPS Compact in .243 for cougar/yotes or a .17HMR Savage for the bobs
 
Possibly use a 12ga too in the tight stuff.
 

don't really have a dedicated varmit rifle but I think this'll fit the bill - I'll be in the woods with shorter shots anyways
 
can't see the need for a 20 lb rifle on a bi-pod
