On the charter boat we refered to "Ralph" as a male upchucker and "Rachel" as a female upchucker.  So since it looks like cow moose poop perhaps we should change it's name from Ralph to Rachel  :dunno:
He asked, Do you ever give a short simple answer?  I replied, "Nope."

Maybe moose poop looks different in NH> Or, in my memory! Could be highly likely.

I bet that hunter was pissed when he went looking in his pack for his milk duds and found out he lost them. I hate it when that happens :bash:

My very first thought when I saw this pile was "Moose" no question about it. From the size to the shape to the quantity. Everything said moose. Except that it was in the Kapowsin tree farm..... So I figure it's elk. Even though I'm quite familiar with most styles and shapes of elk dung as well as pile sizes and I've yet to see one like this. It was HUGE. The only thing I can figure is it's a BIG elk eating a LOT of winter browse... or a moose is lost... :chuckle:

When I was hunting late season in the Winston unit, I found a place on the edge of some clear cuts where the elk had obviously standing in one place for a long time.  The piles of poop were easily a foot across. It was very impressive and I hadn't seen it before like that.
