2012 totals
« on: February 03, 2012, 08:21:16 AM »
Well we are a month into it and the bone is hitting the ground! It has been a good month so far. Here is the total minus the top left horn, with thanks from a fellow hunt wa member wich found it and gave it to me so I could match up the set. Both sets go 140-150 class nothing big yet but its just started and this weekend hopefuly will double this and get the big one.

Some good looking sheds in there so far, good start.
When you see the third, thin the herd.
Right now I'm somewhere picking up sheds.

I don't have much to shake a stick at yet... a 2 point that a huntwa member gave me to break my skunk-streak, last year's 3, and a small match 3 set. :)
So instead I'll post my livingroom... its more interesting than any of those things. I'm hoping to stay on top of a few bucks I'm pretty excited about, but chances of me succeeding are slim.  :dunno:

It helps that half the horns in there are mine.. :) I protested the reloading bench but lost that battle.  :chuckle:

:) Thanks,

We made the bases for the Euros... we have a pattern for both an elk/deer now.. although I think mine for this season will be a little different because I want to float the mount again (angle it without a supporting base) like the one on the far right, but shorten the back base up a little bit to make it look a little cleaner. :)

Sorry for thread jacking the shed total page for this rant.  :sry:

Guess I'll make up for it by posting my first shed of the season.

This guy was in the yard at the cabin this last weekend without his head gear and fresh blood around the bases but we still have about 18 inches of snow and it was wet and heavy made for tough walking. Hope to find them later.
The 2nd buck is still packing his around.

How did you lose that battle??? And where's your guy at? We need to meet him and maybe learn a thing or two.. like how to convince the better half to have a reloading bench in the living room! Haha. Nice find!
