Bonneville Dam Sockeye fishery
« on: February 05, 2012, 09:14:03 AM »
Anyone know much about it?  I watching Angler's West and it looks like it is pretty fun.

In June and July I think I could get over there with my drift boat and a motor.  Thoughts?

How often do they have a sockeye fishery in the Columbia? I thought it was rare, I could be wrong. Sounds like fun.

I have no idea.  I just thought someone on here might know.  It sure looked like some fun fishing.

i don't know how often they have historically had the larger runs, but the last few years i know it has been very strong. never heard anything about up at bonneville, but have heard that lower in the river tuna balls are killer. Have not yet had the opportunity to try it, but hoping to maybe this year!
