what is the BIGGEST difference between ROOSEVELT and ROCKY MOUNTAIN?

They are a sub species of elk. Bigger body, smaller, usually thicker horns.

Boone and Crocket lists them west of I 5 in Washington.

Here is my dad's Margaret bull from 2000. This was the biggest bull we saw the entire time we were scouting and hunting. Saw him on opening day, but the wind and fog was too bad for a good shot. Found him the second morning on the same hillside, and dad decided to take him. It's always nice when you can slide them down the hill and into the truck whole.

Crap, asking me to recall road numbers from 8 years ago.... :chuckle: We camped on the last road driving up the highway before the highway makes the big switchback, and it wasn't too far from camp. I can't for the life of me remember the road numbers anymore.
