My favorite worst photo

I don't usually post over here in the photo board with all you professionals! I just wanted to share my most favorite worst photo... 

I was doing a bit of post season snooping on the elk around St Helens a few years back and was spying this nice bull from a ways off. No good camera that would reach out that far, so I started messing around with my spotting scope, holding the camera to the eyepiece to try to capture the moment....  I enjoy how it turned out, foggy and all...

Mine would be a photo I took of a buck on the Loup.  I was coming home from a girlfriends and I spotted this buck on the ridge.  It was three miles to the house.  I get there, no one around.  My mom had a Canon AE-1 with only a 35-75 or so lens.    I took it risking being ex-communicated, drove back to the hill.  I had no idea what the buttons were, or what the meter was on the inside.   I stalked to withing 10 yards of the beast.  Clicked the camera............................................delay.....................click.   Didn't sound right, but I didn't know what I was doing.  This repeated about 15 times.    Of course this is film. Sent it off.  A week later, ALL BLURRED.   

I had moved the exposure knob to way long, so the whole time delayed the aperature/shutter was open.   I'll never forget the buck or the stalk, and I have one super assed blurry pic somewhere that reminds me of it.  That started my filming of big bucks.  Buck number ONE.

Our favorite blunders?! This is kind of opposite of Bones. I had my aperture wide open and for got to focus. 

You really gotta be quick to catch these guys.  I'm lying through my teeth.

One I took in Estes Park, Colorado, with my old Minolta X700.  2 big bulls going at it about 75 yards away right at dusk.  All you can see is shadows of the bulls.  Forgot to open up the aperture, and slow down the shutter to let the light in, got all excited with those bad boys going at it..

Thanks, Sony camera handheld through my 10x42 Gold Ring binocs. My favorite was from a few years ago, I had good light a pretty good rest.

I came across this herd of bulls with my pants down.  The light was horrible, but I had to take what I could get.  Probably the worst photo of all time!

That is pretty cool stickslinger. Too bad you couldnt connect with the big cat. Looks like a pretty good size mature cat.
