Joel is a heck of a caller.   His son can call with his voice which is cool for a 5 year old.

way to go Brian.  I would have to say you were due for a championship my friend.
My first year to do the RMEF elk calling competition and I didn't even come close to making it to the finals THIS year.  next year will be a different story.  All those guys are class acts and they all deserve to win.  thank you joel for some pointers, you are the man!!

Thanks for the kind words folks, and congratulations to Brian on his win.  It was great to see so many people in the professional division this year.  We had 17 callers in the pros, that always makes it a great time.  Time to start getting the calls tuned up for elk season!!!!!

Take Care,

JT

Good job and I've been a bit lazy to look it up myself on youtube hoping somebody would post the link for me but since nobody has I figured I would.

Again awesome that a Washingtonian made it as far as he did.

Congrats, Joel!

I'd just like to remind everybody that it's about the hunting, not just the killing. In other words, it's about the total experience, the sport itself and the challenge involved. Bowhunting, done right, is a justifiable and honorable pursuit. Done for the wrong reasons, simply chalking up kills and seeking personal glory, it's taking away rather than giving back to a principled way of life that has to be experienced to be understood.
