Heard of wintergreen oil for that application, not actual mint oil. Let me know how this works. I know wintergreen makes a whole hangar smell nice when we get important things seizing up and don't wanna cut.

You are correct... my bad, was thinking wintergreen, typed mint every blasted time....   :bash: :bash: :bash: :bash: :bash:
By my honorable conduct as a hunter let me give a good example and teach new hunters principles of honor, so that each new generation can show respect for their god, other hunters and the animals, and enjoy the dignity of the hunt.

Calling an illegal alien an 'undocumented immigrant' is like calling a drug dealer an 'unlicensed pharmacist'.

No worries, thought that maybe it was like wintergreen only more better. I was shocked the first time I heard about using it.

It's one of those "if all else fails to penetrate and get this bolt unstuck, use this stuff" kinds of things. I've never actually seen it work though  :chuckle: I've just seen it used in an attempt to miracle stuck metal apart. I've heard it works wonders but I guess the cases I've seen were hopeless to begin with  :dunno:

Learn something new every day.... Wiki claims; Wintergreen is particularly effective for breaking through sea water corrosion.

Im done spending money on gun oils that are sussposed to do that, so I will get this wintergreen and give it one last shot.  Do I need to heat the barrel with the wintergreen?

Add the heat to the kroil, that causes a capilary action that will pull the stuff into the threads. Just be sure to stop when it starts to smoke so you don't release the rib.
