Anyone looking for more decoys??
« on: February 07, 2012, 10:02:02 PM »
I was currious if anyone is looking to buy more decoys.  I am going to go through them over the weekend and post them in the classified section probably.  I am going to thin the duck decoys out by a 1000+.  I haven't used the one corner of decoys for several seasons now.  Most of them will be teal, mallards, pintails and scoter decoys of various makes.  Just throwing it out there.

Skagit County, so the NW corner of the state.  I will probably be asking $2.00 per decoy to make it easy.  There is a mix from Super mags to standards, aqua keels to weighted keels.

I would like some pintail decoys given the numbers of pintails I saw this year, that is exactly what I need to add to my spread!

Good lord.    You know a guy has a bad addiction when his post says something like:     "I am going to thin out the duck decoys by 1000+"

I wouldn't even know what to do with 1,000 decoys.   I can only imagine that if you take it that seriously a lot of ducks have had bad days when going past you.

I used to think that walking thru the woods with 7-8 cow calls and a couple bugles was embarrassing overkill, but you have inspired me to buy another custom cow call.

I thank you for the motivation.

P.S.   Dare I ask how many dekes you have?

I sold about 2k over the course of the last 3 years.  I still have a few thousand left.  But I have been cutting that down quickly.  Just don't use or need that many anymore.

what do you have for scoter decs?

I have about 57 +- scoter decoys that will go.  They are a misc. variety that we painted up 2 seasons ago.  I will just be selling the decoy as the clips are going on the new GHG scoter decoys which I replaced them with.
