i received this cool sauer 20 gauge shotgun the other day as a gift from a family friend. he told me his grandpa had it made for him and gave it to him when he was six years old in 1957. his son is just a couple years younger than me but has never shown any interest in guns or hunting so he wanted me to have it with the intention of me giving it to my son when he is of age. it has been well hunted, probably killed thousands of birds in its days but still feels brand new and not a bit of slop anywhere. he said it was hand built. its stamped west germany on the barrel and is littered with hand engravings. anyway a very thoughtful gift i thought id share.

It sounds like it's time to get a new gun.

If you adopt me you can pass it on to me. I'm might be a little big to bounce on your knee, but I'd do the lawn once in a while!
