Rowers Seat for a drift boat
« on: February 10, 2012, 05:43:04 AM »
Hey I am re-doing the rowers seat in the drift boat and I am trying to figure out the best material to use. I dont want to put any thing like a tractor seat because the whole bench is powder coated and I dont want to have that redone. Thanks!

Hey Buddy, What a about a Old School rope seat. They are pretty comfy and keep your back side from sliding around.
I have also seen the seats made of nylon strap. I perfer the rope seats.

I looked at a lot of drift boats while investigating for a purchase.  I saw webbing, rope, a seat with lower back support, full up seat.  When I put my butt in it the Willie webbing sure felt good.

You need to get poly that has u-v treatment or else it will only last a couple of years. Get good u-v treated poly from a boat manufacturer and it will last for many years. I called ClackaCraft, and they sent what I needed.
