I had the fortune of stumbling onto these guys today.   I had been watching for them but hadn't seen them and kind of forgot about them.   I was looking for some more duck action and was marching along when I spotted them both out on the ice.   I switched lens and moved in.  I watched one of them catch a good 20 fish.  Looked like three different species of fish.   One ate 5 or 6 then just swam with its mate, unless they were taking turns.  Not sure about that.  I spent a good hour with them and was absolutely thrilled.   I finally made them nervous and they disappeared.  I took 350 photos of them.

She came up with a trout, couple sucker fish and a pile of crappie and maybe even a bluegill.   I was amazed at how fast she could catch fish.

Those pics are great! The last time that I watched some was at Sekiu. They were sneaking up onto a boat dock and into some guy's boat. They would emerge from his boat with fish bait. (herring) I imagined that when he went to go back out fishing that he probably wondered where his bait went.
