I've noticed that the westside cats have a darker coat than the eastside cats, is that normal ? The cats I've shot were very light in color with lotsa spots on the belly.
I couldn't care less about what anybody says..............

yes,I have yet to see a real good westside cat,fur wise,a cat here might get ya 80 bucks,your side maybe 180,ne montana 400  unless prices  have changed..

yes,I have yet to see a real good westside cat,fur wise,a cat here might get ya 80 bucks,your side maybe 180,ne montana 400  unless prices  have changed..

I think prices have went up on eastside cats. I'd think maybe more like $300 average if well put up.

Big difference in cats east to west, even Cascade better then coastal. Coastal are the worst but even there the difference in just a few miles can be a lot. I always thought it had to do with the dominant male in an area. If he has nice fur he passes his genes on if bad genes you get crappy cats.

Farther south is better too. I've taken some pretty nice cats on the Central Oregon coast. Way better then I have ever caught here.
