I would say it depends. The style of tread will have the most affect on your activities, as well as wear. I have been told that many farmers use Titan or Carlisle  tires. They use better compounding that seems to last longer that cheaper import brands... What do you mostly use it for?

It'll be used the most for bear hunting in Idaho with dogs, so some mud and some rocks.

Well the Mud wolf by Carlile might be the way to go.. but anytime you have huge gaps in the tread lugs they wear out quicker.  :twocents:

We have been running the mud wolf for a couple years and have been very pleased and seem to be holding up well  :twocents:

Interco Swamplites......from Trax Motorsports.....they will send them to your door ready to mount, no shipping or tax......I got tire/wheel package for just over 7 hun.     Mine are 6 years old.....hardly any wear,  lots of off pavement miles.  The performance of mine have inspired others to buy them and they now enjoy same results.

Earlier this winter I was following neighbor up through the woods, he lost traction, had to back down and find alternate rout to the top....I continued on, never lost traction, went to top and waited for him.  I had to go first after that so he could run in my tracks......

These are also 6ply......very important.

I got 15 years out of my original set of Dunlops.  I put the same tires on them this last fall.  I use my machine almost daily and a lot of the driving is on pavement (asphalt).
Look man, some times you just gotta roll the dice

I've got 1200 plus miles on a set of Kenda Bear Claws. They are a pretty good all around tire but my next tire will be the ITP 589's. A buddy of mine has a set of 589's on a 450 Kodiak. In deep snow I can't keep up with him even following in his tracks.  :twocents:

I would suggest a radial tire, more expensive but they ride so nice over any biasply.
The traction can't be beat either, bigger flatter footprint than biasply.

I run bighorn 2.0 radial tires, on a big ride with lots of ATV's my Grizzly 660 went further in the snow than anyone else by a good margin, I could stay on top and just paddle along while they dug to china.

The bighorns 2.0 (the newer version) are a great all around do it all tire - you'll have really good wear too on radial.
