Have your beakfast at the tree stand, of course we always used to use a gallon or so of the nastiest restaurant grease in town to cook our bacon.   :chuckle:

Just having breakfast and interrupted by a bear....

I've read a post from BTKR about the whole sent+calling=bait thing.  If anyone gets a definative answer please put up a topic about it.  You would think that if there weren't an official stance on defining "bait" that some one would come up with one.

Difinitively it's any scent or food put out to attract game.  Some of it is cut and dry, and some of it falls in that grey area.  I think its up to the courts to decide what is what.

Cut and dry. No food. No scent.

You shouldn't hang used pads anywhere, for any reason.  That's nasty.

The *censored* owner of rainier archery sells all kinds of bear baits, he told me it was legal to bait up to 72hrs before the season. :dunno:
