Anyone planning to hunt turkeys out of state this year with the "pending improvement" in the economy? Anyone closing in one their first or subsequent slam? And no Yelp .......... leaving Lincoln County to hunt Merriam's in Stevens County does not count!
Yelp I didn't know we were family. I makes me feel pretty good but you have never invited me to a family reunion
California has some awesome turkey hunting too.

Not sure why anyone would want to go out of state to hunt turkeys? The NE corner is a damn good place to get some birds. What neighboring state is any better and worth the extra cash?
Sounds like thar is going to be some feuding going on in the NE starting April 15th, instead of Opening Day of General Spring Turkey Season? Any Hatfield's and McCoy's up that way? Let's not leave out Colville and the surrounding fine communities? Be on the lookout for any "hunters" carrying Backwoods Turkey Calls in their vests!
Will probably go shoot a couple at my grandma's in Wisconsin if I make it back there during the season. She absolutely hates them and chases them through the woods with her John Deere .
Trying to set something up to go to central Montana in early May. Haven't been back to the family ranch in the spring in a couple years. Would be nice to catch some big trout, shoot a load of prairie dogs, and maybe a turkey..
