He lived to see another day.
We were way late getting out that day and would have most likely had to spend the night if I'd squeezed the trigger.
He wasn't big enough to justify the capital  :-)

Question: have your horses been around a dead bear before? I'm just a little leery about putting a hide on my horse. Have you conditioned them to it?

They're not my horses, but the horses are great around dead bear or deer.
