Yes any compound bow with either the stabilizer hole or sight holes will work for a fishing bow. It just depends if you want a drum reel or spinning style reel which mounts to the stabilizer hole. Or the ams reels that use the sight holes on the riser

No you need a special reel mount to mount the reel in and run the push button reels.80lbs is the standard line weight for those style reels. The ams reels use 130lb braided Dacron line. You can go up to 400lb or more test with the ams reel's.The only thing I hate with the push button reels is "forget to push the botton and you are going to either brake a arrow or impale your self" That is the 2 results, lots of people get excited and forget to push the buttom The ams you never have to do anything but reel and shoot. Much safer design and that is why I like them and use them with my clients and for myself.
