So for an SCI Score you only need the length of each horn and the circumferance? You don't need any tip to tip measurments or width measurments. So the horns can be pulled off the skull?

So the horns can be pulled off the skull?Looking at the score sheet it appears you need circumference measurements of each horn base and the length f each horn, accompanied by a photo. I think the photo would probably be best of the horns on the skull.I don't know for sure, but I see nothing that says a taxidermist cannot proceed with cleaning the skull. It appears the horns could be put back on the skull for the photo and measured after whatever drying period they require.Do you know an official scorer you can call, or do you need me to call one?
Wow, just measured the kids Bison, 13" bases, 25" inside spread, 19" length and outside was 28"- done with a seamstress type tape, so it is not perfect for sure.......
