Just talked to a buddy with an 07 dodge that just UN-installed the Urea injection system for his truck. Should save him some $ and about 3mpg, or so i am told...

No urea injection on an '07 6.7 Cummins.

Diesel particulate filter yes,urea no.

So it must be the one that dumps raw fuel into the cat to "clean" it... causing crappy mileage and burning more fuel to "save" our planet...

I have a 1978 F-250 with 460 V8 that gets 30 mpg for sale.  Any takers?

It gets better milage when sitting in the driveway.

Seriously, sure hate this gas price spike as it is a nice old truck to take hunting/camping, and is rigged for propane also.  May have to sign it over for junk.

start drilln in the badlands, make are own damn gas, oh but that would make to much sense, cause it would create jobs, alot of jobs, we could lower gas down to where it should be, about 1.00 a gallon, then we quit exporting and absolutly zero importing, keep jobs here, keep all are farming goods here, quit allowing people to move into the U.S, that way we can only buy american, oh and shore up are homeland security and are borders, it would be nice to see this happen, but that will only happen when we have politicians and a president that actually give a damn about  THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA........

Maybe I'm missing something, but how would a person save gas by voting Republican?    :dunno:

Carpool to work and use the savings to still scout this summer.

Figures we trade the Subaru in for the Toyota Truck and gas prices go up 15 cents since the purchase  :bash:

i am going to look at a 93 toyota today after work for my son, i figure if i buy it then i can use that to commute from graham to seatac and leave my tundra at home until my son actually has his license in hand, even then as much as it would kill me, i might have him drive my tundra to school and i will drive the 93 toy to work, it has a 4cyl 5sp so i hope it will get better mileage than my tundra which actually gets 17mpg, which is pretty good for a v-8

My parents kind of did the same thing when I got my license. They had an 84 Bronco, a 96 F250, and 2002 Explorer. The F250 got the worth mileage and school was only 2 miles away. I got to say, I fell in love with driving that truck and it was definitely the coolest car (IMO) in the parking lot. I'm sure your son would love you

Better yet, have him take the bus and let your Tundra sit in garage. :)
May I always be the kind of person my dog thinks I am.

i wish i could curly but the bus wont come down are 1/12 mile dirt road, if it was just my son i would say walk but i cant do that to my little girl, so with football statn in the summer and with 2 adays and baseball and transportn little sis to and from school, this is the only option i can come up with, i figure i will fill the tank up twice a month, g/k highschool is only around 6 to 7 miles round trip and if he wants to go out with his girl friend or his friends on a weekend then he can take the little yota and he can come up with his own gas money, i just hope it saves me in gas money to and from work, but i think i might just thrash my son a bit if he hurts my tundra
