Maybe I'm missing something, but how would a person save gas by voting Republican?    :dunno:

The price of gas will go down.     Then we wont need to save it.   :IBCOOL:

Maybe I'm missing something, but how would a person save gas by voting Republican?    :dunno:

Just picture some of the posters in this thread --sitting on their couch in full camo, with taxidermy on the wall behind them-- explaining how they're going to get their gas paid for by the next Republican president.

It will go a little something like this:

"Well, you see... The next Republican president is going to lower the price of gas because the market will be freed from regulations.  The Republican will have gas prices down to historically low levels by creating jobs, and every American citizens can drill for oil in his/her own back yard.  Manufacturing jobs will be created all across the United States because the demand for oil rigs and parts will be astronomical in size.  We will need to have more children to ensure workers of the future are available to prevent the jobs from going overseas.  This increase in population will in turn create more jobs in the healthcare sector as someone will need to care for and deliver these babies.  Not to mention, the Republican will support our right to bear arms and those middle-easterners will be so scared, they'll hand over the oil and not even bother to fish in the Strait of Hormuz for risk of preventing the oil tankers from attaining a full speed exit."

The "vote republican" posters in this thread are just as delirious as this woman is...
I am speechless!  :bash: :bash: :bash:
"Just because I like granola, and I have stretched my arms around a few trees, doesn't mean I'm a tree hugger!

If your concerned about gas prices i would probaly stop hunting, i spent over 700$ in gas over a month and a half of hunting and scouting.

No, I left before the work started.   I'm sure that sometime in the next decade I'll take it out of his hide though. :)

I've crunched the numbers and for me, having a 2nd car or "commuter car" isn't worth the $$.

Sure I'd possibly get 35 mpg but I have to buy the car, insure it, store it somewhere, and maintain it.

I've got to have a truck to do all the things I want to do in my life so I just suck it up and pay for the diesel.

I gotta say I'm very happy with the fuel economy of my Dodge 2500 with the 5.9 vs. my F-250 with the 6.0.

My Dad's license plate frame reads "there's more to life than gas mileage".
The prices are insane but you gotta pay to play.

What kind of friend leaves before the work starts on a moose? :o  Is that like a blind date where work calls after a half hour just in case you need to have an out? :chuckle:

I know a few guys that drew moose tags and say they saved some serious fuel bills by purchasing Bearpaw's maps.  If I ever get drawn for moose or spring bear I'll certainly start my scouting trips with those in hand.
He asked, Do you ever give a short simple answer?  I replied, "Nope."

Don't be, there's a lot of sarcasm and "funning around" in my post.  ;)  I like to pick on both sides...

Unless of course, you are speechless in regards to the video I posted.  If so, you can continue being speechless...or full of laughter, as it was a rather comical video. :chuckle:

Ahh.  The "South Park" approach!  No one can get made at me  :dunno:  Cuz I piss off everyone.  I hear it works surprizingly well :chuckle:

He was too darn picky while I was there.   Thats his own fault.    :chuckle:  Then he went and shot a big one after I left, so I don't think he minded waiting. :)

Dang it, this is my year to draw a moose tag and tags are $200 more this year. That's $200 I could've spent on gas. Now I think I'm going to have to take my wife's old Toyota Corolla when I go moose hunting.   :bash:
