I should tell you no its horrible, that way everyone that read this wont wont to hunt there. It can be very good depending on where you go. Private is best. There are some huge bucks there.  So yes it is good, especially if you think shooting a 4 point is a nice buck (not that it isn't), they are everywhere.  135+ class bucks are harder to come bye.
If you shoot the first one you will never get that true trophy.

Its pretty good,  If you look at my profile pics, last year i took a decent whitetail out of that area as a last resort.  Its worth the trip and the experience.  Rattle away

My area saw a lot more pressure last year. I think the move to permit only for whitetail in the south pushed people up north. There were a good number of bucks taken in my area. But, I've got 4 sets in the garage and seen a bunch more, the genetics right where I hunt just isn't putting out huge racks. Bigger bucks are hard to find too because the area has been open for a lot of seasons by the time we get there. I think the archers get the best deal. If I were an Archer I'd be in Sherman late.

Doe PMTs went down significantly going into this year so I suspect this year won't be as good as many in recent history. Winter was a bit hard on em. I think anyone willing to work a little and get away from the roads some to look for rubs and scrapes stands a fair chance at a buck.

Colville, had some great points, if you where an archery person you would want to be in the Sherman Unit. One thing that I saw different last year was less people, I didnt noctice more. There is alot of land up there. Up on top of Tiger Pass at the snow level, which is usually just above the fields, Rocky Lake above Arden, and my favorite above Kettle Falls, towards Northport. Find the does and you will have bucks. Like previously mentioned, the bucks are usually not really big, abundant, but not big.
If you shoot the first one you will never get that true trophy.
